When you use the links below to obtain the SID renewal file, instructions will applying it will be sent to your VCU email. Be sure to choose the correct link, there is a different SID file for each operating system and each version of SAS - and for Teaching and Research use and Administrative use. To download the SID file required for renewing your SAS software, select the link below that matches your version of SAS. (Note: If you are using SAS 9.3, you may want to upgrade to SAS 9.4.) Renewal Download Links: The SID files currently available at those links will, when applied, license your SAS software through June 30, 2022, plus a 90 day grace period through September 28, 2022.įailure to renew before September 29 each year will result in SAS not running on your PC. To renew your SAS license, you must download and apply a new "SID file" (SAS Information Data File). There is a 30 grace period through September 28. SAS licenses expire on June 30 of each year. The renewal of SAS licenses must be completed annually. You will receive an email notification shortly with renewal instructions. Your SAS renewal procedure is different (and much simpler).
